I have read every book in the series, dad or son with cowriter as the author. I impatiently wait for more. I have been reading scifi for a half century. Enjoy this series.

The three originals are great - the next three (by Frank) let you explore the developments into the future. Brian and Kevin give prequel info and I agree that it would benefit from some tighter editing especially the more recent books about the three factions (beneG/mentats/guild

However the 'Winds' and the 'Sandworms' are must reads since they bring the Dune story to a final conclusion and are based very much on Frank Herbert's notes. So read the first three ... and if you want to know how it all ends, read the next three plus Brian and Kevin's final two books. The rest are a matter of taste I guess.
