Has anyone read this? I've just given up at about the 1/4 mark. Sorry, this is cut/paste from BFB, but .. It was confusing as it was difficult to understand who the narrator was, it definitely wasn't character driven and I felt no affinity for any of the various characters, and the 'western' setting didn't really interest me. It was excellently written with some of the best descriptions I've come across, but it just wasn't for me ..

Haven't read it yet, but I've heard McCarthy prefers to use as little punctuation as possible and he can toggle through his points of view very disconcertingly, which I'm guessing can make listening to the story a little difficult. I'm definitely interested in reading more McCarthy and, of his books, this one is high on my list.
