Best Science Fiction Novels of 2014

By / September 3, 2015 / no comments

We’ve already given our idea of the best novels of the year on the main site, but we drew that list up well before any of the year’s awards were announced.

So how do our choices compare with what the voters and juries for the various awards decided? Well, we’ve gone through the results, given 1 point for a book that was shortlisted, and an extra point for a winner, organizing the rankings by the total number of points (i.e. awards won + listed for).

And these are the top 10 (or, actually, the top 11 since there was a tie) as given by the voters and jurors for the main sf awards and compared to OUR own ranking given on our own list on the main site.
